IpCamera: New IP Camera Binding

• Does the actual raw log file change, or is it only the viewing of the file through frontail for example that gets upset?
• Have you tried a different web browser?

The actual log file events.log changes, if i try to grep it it says the file is binary and i need to use the -a flag.
Haven’t tried a different browser but the same content (binary garbled text) is present in the logs and browser.

As a work around you can filter out lines from going into the logs. I used to filter out these changes because the raw image data gets logged and was flooding the logs, hence I know it is pretty easy and I posted how to do it somewhere in this forum.

Thanks! I will play around with this more as i was unsuccessful to get it working. I understand what you pasted pertains to OH2.x and in OH3.x it’s configured in /var/lib/openhab/etc/log4j2.xml

I tried multiple different soutions (Link1, Link2) to block any line containing: “EventNotificationAlert” but it kept appearing. Maybe because there are linebreaks in the changed event and its not a single line?
