Java Runtime Fatal Error launching openHab runtime osX El Capitan

Hello All,
I’m new to openHab world and it seems really exciting
I download runtime and all the tools… but Java don’t want to work properly.

I’m on osX El Capitan, I try Java JDK 8 and 7 but I always got this big terrific error :
A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:

SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007fff853f1dc0, pid=2334, tid=8971

JRE version: Java™ SE Runtime Environment (7.0_79-b15) (build 1.7.0_79-b15)

Java VM: Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM (24.79-b02 mixed mode bsd-amd64 compressed oops)

Problematic frame:

C [libsystem_c.dylib+0xdc0] strncpy+0x40

Failed to write core dump. Core dumps have been disabled. To enable core dumping, try “ulimit -c unlimited” before starting Java again

I’m not a Java Expert… but I really want to play with openHab… if someone can help me… thanks a lot.

Bye.
Romain.

Until there’s a fix, perhaps run Ubuntu under VirtualBox (or similar).

Can you try with JDK 9?
