Kodi and other items not showing value and not working

Hi,

My kodi and astro items don’t have a value
On my sitemap text items are empty rules don’t react on the play /pause status of kodi binding

My event.log show i.e.:

it has worked in the past, but after a restart of openhab2 it stopt.

i don’t know how to diagnose this error

I sometimes see this error if the items files are not loaded yet, but the sitemap is already used by a client or rules already have been triggered. This usually goes away after the items files are loaded. If the error persists, i would first check the openhab log if the items file has been loaded. Look for lines “Loading model ‘filename.items’”

I found the problem

removing the line below solved it

Player Kodi_State "Kodi State [%s]" {channel=kodi:kodi:740d21d3:control"}

everything below this line was skipped by openhab

Out of curiosity: Are you editing your files under Windows and then transferring them to a linux box?

Yes, i use a Windows machine to connect to a smb share on a Linux box. , And I use smarthome designer to edit the files

The problem might be the " at the end of the binding definition. This started a new string which never ends in this line…
