LinkPlay Binding

@mjcumming I finally had the time to test your binding and I’m glad to report that it detected my Linkplay Muzo Cobblestone with no problems.
I managed to integrate it in openHab and I’m now able to control it. I have not created items for all of the available channels. Some because I don’t think I need to and some because I can’t ( can’t test the group functionalities since I only have one Linkplay device).

Here’s the items in my sitemap based UI .
(the selection of the music to play was done through the WiiM App from a Plex Media Server )

Thank you very much for your work @mjcumming

@mjcumming are you still using openHAB and developing this binding? It looks like you may have moved on. I ask as i have an alternative version of this binding i have written based heavily on UPnP, but don’t want to step on toes here if you are committed to supporting your version.

@mjcumming i’m going to guess you have moved on and will open a PR for my binding.

Hi, many thanks to you and mjcumming for your work on integrating WiiM/LinkPlay devices. Up to now I was doing some http api calls of my own using a cli script, but would like to move to a binding. What’s the current recommendation? Still this binding or your PR? I also noticed your thread on the WiiM forum regarding UPnP stability issues, so it’s not really clear to me what’s the way to go in the mean time. Thanks.

hi all, wondering where this ended up? just ordered two wiim mini and would like to avoid their app

@digitaldan Can you provide an updated build from your PR since it is not merged yet?
