You there can select different releases as well (via tags)

Hi,
thank you
May I ask you an other question…

In a separate dialog i was told to use xxxx.2.5.12-snapshot.jar how can I go to 2.5.12 snapshot version from 2.5.11?
With openhabian I tried with
01 | Select Branch
* master
and

40 | openHAB Related
41 openHAB snapshot Install or switch to the latest openHAB SNAPSHOT build

Unfortunatly it is always shown
openHAB 2.5.11 Release Build
in WEB and in SSH Terminal
ssh

Thank you very much for pointing me to the right way
Cheers

I’m not sure there are 2.5.12.snapshot versions. OH 2.5 has ended development and all new development is being done on OH 3.1 now. There might be some bug fixes back ported to 2.5 if they are important enough but I believe 2.5.11 was the last release for 2.5.

I could be wrong but that’s my understanding.

Hi,
thank you,
so why are the fix for my “fibaro FGT problem” is to use:
org.openhab.binding.zwave-2.5.12-SNAPSHOT.jar
or in other words can you explain me how to use this binding.jar in stable version 2.5.11 ?

Thank you for helping me out
Cheers
Stef

You can download it, uninstall the current binding, and drop that jar file into the addons folder.

Hi,
i already do so - biut get an error message! “binding not supported” or similar

cheers

BTW why 2.5.12-snapshot? Meanwhile I ask myself (often) if right hand of openhab team knows what left hand does - very sorry

Hi,

solution …

Than
delete “Z-Wave Serial Controller”
and “add Z-Wave Serial Controller” again
in UI (don´t forget to use the old “Thing ID”

BUT
It is instable ! controller often:

2021-01-27 17:41:07.537 [WARN ] [.core.thing.binding.BaseThingHandler] - Handler ZWaveSerialHandler of thing zwave:serial_zstick:2a2280e1 tried updating channel serial_sof although the handler was already disposed.
