I have just switched to OH4 on Windows.
Is it correct that the “openHAB Log Viewer” is not available in the same way as in OH3 (Openhabian)?

If you are talking about Frontail, yes, as this is a Linux tool.

How to watch and look through logging

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts lately about people wanting to eliminate certain events from their events.log. This posting is to show that doing so is not only a bad idea but unnecessary. I did not test it and also have no experience if it works but as far as I understand node / nodejs is available for windows as well. So it should run, shoudn’t it ?

Ah, did forget it is a nodejs tool, so probably it might work.

This might help. Its a Java App that runs natively on windows that provides a Http server that serves up logs.

Front Tail/ Log Viewer on Windows 10

I Had the same problem, I run OpenHab on a headless windows server and I needed to access the logs easily from any machine. I found Logstation which is a small HTTP server than can serve up colour coded log files with filter and tail services. It works well for me but I’m yet to integrate it with the OpenHAB GUI (if possible)
