MainUI and Chrome: 100% CPU

The following issue is not about server, but client webinterface.

I’m running openHAB 4.0 Main UI on Ubuntu with a Google Chrome 119.0.6045.123 (64-bit). Afer some time the tab in Chrome with openHAB uses 100% of CPU. I have a few Items on the overview page, nothing special, just a few widgets with data fetched every few seconds.

Does anyone have the same problem?

The simple way to test would be to create a second page with no widgets, then add the same widgets and monitor to see if/when it spikes.

You may want to start by right clicking on page then left click inspect on the context menu and have a look at the developer tools to see what is consuming all the resources.
