It is giving a kind-of clue. The restore when zram didn’t start restored an “old” value - implies that zram did not stop tidily either in the previous session (else the restored value would be good).

No just stay. You don’t even have to reinstall although of course you can.
Using older images results in upgrade to the same level, it just takes longer than to use the new image.

did you run openhabian-config ddid it ask you to update?
run again if asked to update then yes
Try to move /usr/share/firemotd/data/FireMotD.json away does it still happen?
If so edit /etc/cron.d/firemotd remove the -G all and run FireMotD -S -D all once.

still the same (did another upgrade, now no more upgrades, error persists)
