Meross Smart Plug - Openhab 4 integration

Dear community,

I have installed Openhab4 on my Raspberry PI and registered various devices with the existing bindings.
Now I want to add my Meross Smart Plugs and haven’t found an binding. I have also tried this tutorial Meross Devices in openHAB 3, but it is very hard for me to follow the steps.

Is there any easier solution available to integrate the Meross Smart Plugs to swith on and off and to get the current energy consumtion?
