Migration from OpenHab to OpenHabian - backup management

Hi everyone,
I’m considering migrating from a standard OpenHAB v3 installation to openHABian. I would need to know if backups are compatible i.e. if I can backup my OH3 configuration and then restore it in openHABian.

Backups taken with openhab-cli or the backup.sh or backup.bat scripts in the runtime/bin folder will be compatible, as long as the versions of OH are the same. If the versions are different YMMV.

If you’ve taken you own backups through some other means, maybe. It depends on whether your backup looks like one generated by the OH backup tools.
