Monoprice Z-Wave Smart Outlet -- Stuck in Initialization

Hey @chris – first off: thanks for being such an active member of the community here. Your blog was a major boon in helping me set up Z-Wave on my OH2.

I recently purchased https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15654, hoping to include it with my Aeotec Z-Stick. Seems like I was able to get them communicating (it was discovered as a thing in the inbox) but I don’t think an entry in the zwave DB exists yet. I’m stuck in the initialization phase. Let me know if I’m way off base/ need to keep digging and I’ll jump back in.

Hi Joe,
It looks like this device is in the database, so it should be in the snapshot. Are you running the snapshot version or the released version?
