Moving homekit from 1 server to another

Hi all!

I have my old openhabian setup (RPi4 with openHAB 4.3.7) and I want to move to a new setup (openahbian 5.0.1 on a RPi5).

The whole process is done and work but now I am at a loss how I can ‘move’ my homekit setup.

I tried by just copying the config files but then the Home app lost connection with the RPi4 immediately. I guess the bindings were similar or something.

Does someone have an idea so that I don’t have to setup all groups and rooms anymore?

maybe use openhab-cli backup and restore on rp5 ?

Hi @Jacek_Kaczmarczyk ! No, that didn’t work. In the end I just recreated the homekit setup.
