Hey community,
It seems that the MQTT Homeassistant binding doesn’t update a color-item when the “brightness” value in the mqtt topic has changed. I looks like that the binding updates the item only if the RGB values have changed. I’ve just tested it with some Govee lights throught the govee2mqtt binding.
For the reproduction: Change the brightness inside of the govee app.
If it’s a common issue, it should be reproducible with other lights and vendors also.
Can anyone verify that behavior?
