MQTT old 2.x to new 2.4 step by step migration help

Hello guys,
I’m feeling a little sheepish to say that I have some problem to understand HOW to migrate to the new 2.4 binding.

I already had a fully working mqtt network based on mosquitto broker before 2.4 installation but now it is all new.

can some-one list step by step???

If I install the Embedded broker service can I delete mosquitto from my raspberry pi 3 ?

I’m confused. :cold_sweat::cold_sweat::cold_sweat:

I don’t have a step-by-step instruction, but I was struggling just like you yesterday. I got most of it solved. No, you don’t delete mosquitto. Everything remains the same except for a new .things file and some modifications to your .items files.
