Hey,
I’ve found that Google Home does not allow home owners to restrict certain accounts to specific rooms.
I’m thinking of creating a workaround where I expose all the devices in each room to different cloud connectors which are then linked to different google accounts. I would also need to expose multiple rooms to certain “admin” accounts.
Is this viable or possible? I’d be running this on my own cloud instance.

this is not possible, as the openHAB cloud connector supports only one connection per openHAB instance.
What about filtering on the cloud connector side? Is it possible to isolate different devices to different google accounts?
You would need to have a separate instance of oh with different cloud connections to each. Then connect the oh instance and only share what you want using the remote binding
That’s pretty counterintuitive. Hopefully one day OH cloud gets upgraded to support multiple accounts.
