besides other, I monitor the availability of the Quad 9 DNS with the network binding, the thing configuration is as follwing:
network:pingdevice:Network_Quad9_DNS [ hostname="9.9.9.9" ]
According to the binding documentation the binding sends service discovery messages, when it detects, that the device is an iOS device (uses_ios_wakeup = True). This property is shown for this device and I noticed in my firewall, that the service discovery messages are send.
By further inspecting the thing configuration in the GUI, I noticed, that uses_ios_wakeup is true for all configured devices.
Is there any way to turn this off?
