Ecobee emailed me today said they’ve enabled “eco-plus” which is an upgrade to their offering that adds additional features. Has anyone enabled this, and does it break the binding? More info here, I think they’re rolling it out slowly so it might not yet be available for everyone: Help Centre
It does NOT break the v1 binding. I have it enabled on 2 of my Ecobee’s.

I enabled eco+ on my two thermostats. No issues with the v2 binding so far.
