One thing to be careful of though is to ensure that the refresh token does not expire. In my experimentation in the past (Honeywell Home API with openHAB using just rules) and my experience with the binding posted to the marketplace is that over a relatively short period of time (days) my refresh token stops working and I have to go through the whole authorization process again. That’s the main reason I use Amazon Control to access my thermostat, but that’s pretty much limited to just the setpoint and HVAC mode and nothing more.
I’ll happily be a beta tester for this when it’s ready.
