New Icons not active with Basic UI

Hi,
I have defined new icons 32x32 pixels *.png under /etc/openhab2/icons/classic, which makes them visible using the Classic UI. However they are not visible with the Basic UI
Where should I place these new icons for the basic UI

changed the setting to basicui

Configure Basic UI --> icon format —>Bitmap
