New Viessmann Binding in status waiting

I have upgraded my viessmann binding from smarthome/J to the current viessmann binding (5.1.0.202511200020). I installed it by dropping the file “org.openhab.binding.viessmann-5.1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar” into the addons folder. I downloaded the file it from github

It seems to work. But when I checked the list of bundles in the openhab console, I detected something strange

the binding is listed twice. See the screen shot.the version “5.1.0.202511161327” is listed as active. The version “5.1.0.202511200020” is listed as waiting. There is only one file for the binding. Why do I have an active and a waiting bundle ?

You have two versions of the binding installed. You need to uninstall both.

This means deleting all the JAR files in the addons folder.

If you installed via the user interface, you need to delete them there as well.

Afterwards, it’s best to clear the cache and reinstall.
