New Zwave Thing from a manufacturer not in the supported list

  • Issue of the topic: Vesternet Z-Wave 2 Channel Switch recognized as unknown device

Hi I bought 2 units of relatively new “Vesternet Z-Wave 2 Channel Switch”

And when I include them to openhab they discovered as an unknown device, without any chanel.
How can I configure it manually as a start?

And how they can be included in the supported library for openhab in the future?

The information about what channels a z-wave devices should have is kept in the z-wave database. Without an entry in that database, there simply isn’t any way for the binding to know what channels (or properties) a devices should present. Until the device is in the database, there’s not much you can do with it in OH.
