NGIX pros and cons

Hi,
I’m moving first steps in openhab, now I’m deciding about using NGIX.
It’s important enought for me to have a user/password system that points the user to a dedicated sitemap, but I read in the forum that NGIX causes some malfunction.
Is there anyone that uses it and can reports pros and cons?

It’s not all that easy to configure NGINX properly but once you made it there, there’s nothing wrong with using it (sure it consumes ressources and delays access but that’s about it for the cons).
Use openHABian, it offers a preconfigured NGINX package.

yes I’m using openHabian with the preconfigured NGINX package.
I don’t need https cause I use VPN so I think that can be easier to configure… I’ll try.
