Niko Home Control v2 and Homekit - broken after updating 1 iPhone to iOS16

Apparently I managed to break our Homekit environment at home by upgrading my iPhone to iOS16.

None of the other devices at home could be upgraded to iOS.

As a result, I am the only person at home able to control everything from the Home app, but the remainder of the family lost access to the Niko Home Control things. They can still see and operate the things managed by the Ikea Hiome Smart (Tradfri) binging (and Homekit gateway).

I’m running openHAB 3.3.0 on a raspberry Pi 3 B+. The Niko Home Control things were exposed to Homekit by configuring the relevant Homekit metadata. The Niko Home Control binding makes use of the Niko hobby API (API key valid for 1 year).

Did others run into similar issues? Is there a way to make the disappeared things available again to the remainder of the family?
