No access to Config files, running on Vbox [SOLVED]

  • Platform information:

    • Hardware: Intel nuc, 16gb
    • OS: virtual box on win 10

  • Issue of the topic: No access to Config files

I am trying to access Config files however entering ip address in windows file explorer pops up an error.

I have installed through Openhabian
Samba was installed and reinstalled
Changed to allow guest connection policy
Configured my internet connection to private

None of the above works

Following the docs procedure worked fine for me:

Don’t forget to provide a password to the user you want to login with

sudo smbpasswd -a YourUser
