Quick test done on OH 5.0.2 on openhabian. Works like a charm including TTS.
Thanks!
thanks for pulling this together.
I’m on OH 5.1M2. I encountered this error when I dropped the .jar in the addons folder.

Thank you. With the velocity dropped in the Addons folder, the account Thing and device Things are online. I will test it all tomorrow, but looking good.
Would it be possible for you to provide a jar for OH3.4.5. Currently i can’t upgrade OH and JAVA due to computer limitations. And OH3.4.5 is still a great release running very well. Thanks for an answer in advance.
After a new binding is there I’m not sure if you need it but here:
First I have create the Alexa account node and authenticate it and the mqtt broker node. Then I have create a small flow
The MQTT Input includes the topic say - this will be set by openhab with the message to which is to send to alexa.
And thi is the node to send it to alexa
Thats all. I have add the flow of Larson and made some test. The good thing is that I can get the alexa command in a string. This i have never found in the binding. Every call to Alexa also generates an MQTT entry. This is well described by Larson.
Also you get the Alexa device who heard it. Here it’s possible to setup workflows based on it if you have more than one Alexa.
Shouldn‘t me move the binding discussion to another thread?
This thread is about the node-RED approach.
you don’t even need the additional flow. You can directly click the mqtt and Alexa node in the imported flow and enter your accounts there. Node-RED stores them the same way

Everything works perfectly for me too;
Thank you so much!
