Is the Nuki Pro 4th gen with built-in Wi-Fi, meaning without a bridge, compatible with the OpenHAB Nuki binding?

Nope, Nuki binding uses Bridge API which is only available on Nuki bridge. You should still be able to integrate it with openHAB using mqtt (or matter, not sure if it works yet).
