OH 2.2 binding installation - no discovery possible

Hi,

I installed the NTP binding using PaperUI. The installation was successfull (according to PaperUI).

According to the documentation, the NTP-thing is created by using Discovery. So I went to “inbox” and then “search for things”. I could select several installed bindings, but NTP was not listed.

Another option in the inbox was to “scan” for things (I don’t know what the difference is between scan and search). In that list, I could see the NTP binding (without title). However, when I press the scan-button, it keeps on scanning forever, without any result.

Does anyone have an idea what I might be doing wrong?

I am on OpenHAB 2.2 (Build #985).

Ok,
New insight: it does not seem to be NTP binding specific.

I just installed the Astro binding, and I have exactly the same issues:

  • No discovery;
  • The title of the Astro binding not shown correctly in the list of “scan for things”;

Ok, strange.
After stopping OH, clearing /tmp and /cache and starting OH everything works fine again.
