OH1 ZWave measurement spikes with Aeon Multisensor 6

Hi

I’m using openHAB1 1.8.3 with ZWave binding 1.10.0-SNAPSHOT (updated within a week) with Aeon Multisensor 6 sensors. The sensors are mains-powered.

I have issue that happens just occasionally, see the following picture

The magenta line “Lampotila OH” is the room temperature as measured by the Aeon Multisensor 6. Sometimes I get faulty measurements and not sure whether the sensor is to blame or whether it’s the binding.

For example, the spike at 36’C around 15:30 shows as follows in the log: https://pastebin.com/dT5Es0G4

As far as I can read the log, it seems that value of 36’C is actually returned by the sensor.

  • Any ways to debug this further? Any known issues with this sensor?

If I remember correctly (which I might not!) there’s a bug with this device where it can return incorrect data when polled. Maybe it was an older Aeon device - but it might be worth trying to correlate this…

(just a guess - but worth looking as it’s the only thing that comes to mind)
