OH2 and install binding Elko/IHC2

Hello !

I am struggling with a stupid problem. I cannot find the IHC2 binding in PaperUI
Only the OH1.x version is there.

What am I doing wrong?

IHC2 binding hasn´t been merged into OH2 yet. You´ll need to grap the binding manually… Or you could use OH1 binding. (OH2 binding is MUCH better though)
@pauli_anttila can probably supply you with an updated link for the binding, otherweise I can provide one later.

Hi!
Thank you. I’d love a link to the binding

IHC2 binding is merged to OH2 already, but as it’s merged after 2.5.0 Milestone 1 (M1) build and milestone builds are broken currently, there is no other release than daily snapshot available which contains the new binding.

But cant he use the link to the jar from the danish IHC forum, and install it manually?

My understanding is that recent snapshots are no longer compatible with OH 2.5 M1 due to the API changes from merging ESH back into OH.

I downloaded a snapshot of oh2 bindings and put the ihc bindind in the addons-folder.
In the log, I see this

It seems as the binding downloads config fine, but the binding is not shown as installed in the PaperUI.

Should I do some more tweaks?

The version I use if from Pauli dated in marts (if I remember correctly). I use 2.5M1 build 1575.

Cant you see IHC/Elko in PaperUI under things?

Nope

I downloaded “org.openhab.binding.ihc-2.4.0-SNAPSHOT” and this works fine.
It pops up in PaperUI
