OH3: influx 2.0 errors

    • Java Runtime Environment: Zulu 11.0.9
    • openHAB version: 3.0.0.M1
    • influxDB version: InfluxDB 2.0.0-rc.0

I have issues with influxdb 2.0 and openHAB 3.0 when I turn off any zwave dimmer/switch…
Im try delete autogen bucket and recreate it but do not help.
Any idea how to fix issue?

Thanks for that info.
Looks like Im fix issue with:
1.) Uninstalling influxdb persistence addon
2.) Copy SNAPSHOT jar file for influxdb persistence into “/usr/share/openhab/addons”
3.) Restart openhab (Looks like restart is needed to install jar addon from folder)
4.) Recreate autogen bucket
5.) Restart openhab

Strange thing is that search function on “forum” do not work and didn’t find anything when I search with influxdb keyword… Right now also fond only my thread…!

Guys today i found an new error in influx 2.0 that i could not interpret.

Why does the binding try to access a bucket that i have not specified?

Im found same thing but is not big deal for me because use Fluxdb only for one openhab instance…

I solved the autogen bucket error. I checked the influx config profile and found that the correspondig entry “retentionProfile” /euqals bucket in influx 2.0) is missing. Based on this the default value “autogen” is used. Adding the entry saves immideately entries to the database.

I will open an issue on that, but i am not sure if this is an ui thing or a binding thing.

Thank you, I did the same, there is no more error, I’ll see if the data will be recorded.
First I did as above, but it didn’t work.

I was the retentionPolicy not Profile. Sorry for that
