Clean install of OpenHabian, upgraded to OH3 immediately. Installing influxdb+grafana fails. And installing NGINX just hangs up and can’t even get out with CTL+C. Suggestions?

The thread literally says “This topic can be used to discuss problems/experiences/questions on the openHAB 3.0 Release Candidates.” And that’s exactly what I’m doing.
And the thread makes absolutely no mention of a debug guide. I googled “OpenHab Debug Guide” and there is no such thing found. So no, I haven’t read this guide, whatever and wherever it is.
So instead of just rudely telling me not to do exactly what the tread said to do, and referring me to an unknown document, perhaps you or someone could say something helpful?
No, you’re not even close. You ask for help on a specific problem of yours you have with openHABian installation. That’s a Linux.
That you haven’t read the docs for because if you had you would have seen multiple references to the debug guide I mentioned. Which tells you how to debug issues with openHABian. I’d call that “helpful”, you don’t ? It’s probably the most helpful resource to exist for this type of problem.
The thread is on openHAB 3.0RC1. That’s Java software.
And you should only post if that’s of general interest and helpful to identify issues with the software before release.
