I want to use the remote binding to show all items of a remote server on the main server UI.
Actually I would have to copy the item files including the group definitions from remote to the main server and the replace or add the channel definitions of each item to point to the item of the remote server.
Is a script available for doing this job automatically?
If you are using managed Items (i.e. created through the UI) you can create the Items almost all in one go using “Create Points from Thing” or “Crete Equipment from Thing”. If not, no, there is no script I know of to do this for you.
It probably wouldn’t be too hard to write but I’ve not seen one that does exactly this.
