The thing is, the sonoff devices usually talk with the sonoff cloud service.
So interfacing with openhab is usually done by flashing tasmota to the sonoff device (but i couldn’t find an instruction for the MINIR2) and then you interface them using MQTT

It’s very new, tasmota allready have the template, but the way to flash tasmota is still a problem. Give it some time and search flash tasmota. After that you should install mqtt server (mosquito) and configure mqtt binding. You will find a lot of information for that here in the documentation and forum.
