Hi All
I am running openHAB 5.0.0 Build #4546 with following:
Java Runtime Eclipse Adoptium 21.0.6 (Temurin-21.0.6+7)
Operating system Windows 10/10.0 (amd64)
and have realized that the Log Viewer is no longer working.
I checked the Test Web Socket Connection tool and it does not show any activity.
There is definitely log activity as I can see that from log:tail
in Karaf Console
Any Suggestion please?
Mark
EDIT: It seems I am getting nothing back from the server side? And nothing in the logs?

I have updated to the latest snapshot ( openHAB 5.0.0 Build #4565 ) and still the same.
Is anyone else seeing anything similar and suggestions on what to look at?

I think I have the same problem. Regardless of browser or smartphone OS, the logviewer cannot be started by clicking on the play button.
But I know that it used to work. Like you, I’m also having a look at Karaf via log:tail as an alternative.

I tried a clean/fresh install with no real THINGS etc, and the LogViewer works like that.
I have tried <Logger level="TRACE" name="org.openhab.core.io.websocket "/>
to try and get some logging, but nothng shows up, even when using the debug Tool for Web Socket.

I have made some progress.
If I access OH using HTTPS I get (nothing):
If I access using HTTP I get (success):
This explains why my clean (default) install worked (I was using HTTP).
So from what I can see issue is related to using LogViewer over HTTPS?
