Java Runtime Environment: java version “1.8.0_144”
openHAB version: 1.8x
Issue of the topic: username and Password for website
I didn’t change anything! Okay, I had to reboot my router (WAN-Access) 2 times today. Sometime during the day my openhab crashed, stopped didn’t work. Usually I reboot the raspberry Pi, start the openhab service and a view minutes later erverything is fine again! But not today!!! The local access to the default sitemap wants me to insert a username and password?
even if I insert the openhab admin -> access denied!
If I try to acess openhab.org, it is connected, and looks like everything is fine, but nothing works!!!
I’ really upset what to do now?! I tried to reebot the system 3 times but no effect everytime the same shit!
There have been no changes to the core of OH 1.8 for I think three years now. There have been updates to some of the bindings but you did not say that you’ve done any upgrades if those, and a binding wouldn’t be able to cause this change of behavior anyway.
I say all of this to point out that whatever is causing this problem is most likely originating outside of OH itself.
Given that you are running on an RPi, as Danny indicates, there is probably something gone wrong with your SD card and you need to restore from backup on a new SD card. They’re isn’t really anything else that could change this behavior.
If you were running OH 2 I’d say look through your logs and post the errors. But they’re are very few users left active on the forum who have used 1.8 in years so even with logs, there aren’t many, if any, who will be able to help.
