The end of the year moves closer, but before openHAB 3.2 is released in December, we have another milestone - 3.2.0 Milestone 4 has just been published. Please check out the release notes on Github.
For any questions, feedback and discussions, you already know the place to go!
We have reached the fifth and last milestone build for openHAB 3.2 - you can see its release notes on GitHub.
I’d like to update you on the schedule towards the final 3.2 release:
Our plan is to have a feature freeze on December 13 and do a release candidate build (3.2.0.RC1) on Friday, December 17.
If nothing critical comes up, the final 3.2.0 build will be made available on December 20 - just in time for everyone to play with it in the festive season!
do a release candidate build (3.2.0.RC1) on Friday, December 17.
It still is Friday - and here it is: The first release candidate build of openHAB 3.2.0!
Please install it on your test systems and report back any critical bug that you might encounter - either here or directly on the Github issue trackers.
Note that we plan to include at least one further change in the final release build: The upgrade to Karaf 4.3.4 as this should fix any log4j vulnerability once and for all. We are impatiently waiting for it to be released. In the worst case, we might delay the final release 1 or 2 days, but we will make sure that it is out before christmas.
