openHAB 4.2.2 Analyzer in Widget does not work as expected

Hello, good afternoon
I have 3 Instances of OpenHAB. Yesterday and today I upgraded all 3 Instances from OpenHAB 4.2.1 to OpenHAB 4.2.2.
The behavior described here is the same for all three instances.

Before the upgrade, clicking on a widget field resulted in a curve generated by the analyzer (e.g. temperature of a sensor) being displayed. After upgrading to OpenHAB 4.2.2, this curve is empty. Only after I clicked on the ‘Control’ field below the curve is a curve displayed.
Since this behavior is the same for all three instances after the upgrade to 4.2.2, I have to assume that an error has crept in.
Has this problem already been identified and will it possibly be resolved with the next upgrade?
Kind regards
Heinz

If you are viewing these charts on iOS devices, then this error has already been reported and fixed:

If not, then it is possible this is some new error.

If you can reproduce this error on a desktop browser, then open the developer tools and view the console. Tell us if there are any errors that appear in the console when you open the analyzer.

I updated today my three PI systems from OH 4.2.1 to OH 4.2.2.
From now on, trendline from the icons under basic UI works in this way, that only a
black screen comes up, and not more the graph from the item.

This happens only under iOS devices in different browser or the native client app for iOS.
So simelar issue as with the graph summery but this time with trendlines from items values.

It can be fixed with reload the app in the main section.

Please have a look why this happenes…

Thanks

Yes, you’re right, the previous fix should be in 4.2.2, so this must be some additional problem with the iOS graphing.

You should probably report this issue on the web repository. That is the best way to make sure that a dev will see it and take a look.

I had this issue on the currently stable version, but the milestone does not have it. I’m on the 17.7 iOS version.

I open a issue in GitHub.

Please always remind to reload the app or reload and clear cache in Main UI → About after upgrading openHAB!

I have it on both, iOS Devices and on the Browser.
After updating the instances I rebooted them. I also cleared the Browser Cache

I rebooted the 3 Instances after upgrading and I cleared the Browser cache. The proble is on iOS as well as with a browser

Which UI is affected?

After having done some Git diffing, the relevant code seems to be the same …

I just added to the github issue I openend some screen shots.
BTW: Also the main menue (left side has an overlappening issue)
See here: OH 4.2.2 issue with showing trendlines in items in the basic UI. · Issue #17507 · openhab/openhab-addons · GitHub

A miracle has happened…

I didn’t reboot any of the three computers and I didn’t restart OpeHAB, but suddenly the curves are displayed again. How can that be?

Seems like your browsers have had some problem to load a new version of Main UI from the server … but I cannot tell why.
