What I said isn’t without context, we just had the same discussion in another thread, where he repeatedly “insulted” me by just claiming that I didn’t understand - if you’re interested in “counting insults”. I patiently tried to explain, until it dawned on me that he wasn’t interested in any explanation - he basically just kept repeating the claim that I didn’t understand anything. To me, this is indistinguishable from trolling, whether that’s what it is or not, which is why I concluded that continuing the exchange was pointless.
What made me react here was that, after having the same discussion without achieving anything useful a few days ago, he wanted to restart it here in this thread. That is why I answered like I did, and without this context, the answer might not make sense.
I don’t agree that I said anything wrong, but I do admit that I made one mistake: I didn’t ignore his attempt at restarting this. I acknowledge that, and for that I’m sorry, but it won’t happen again, since I’ve now added him to my ignore list.
