I don’t see motion sensors listed and the rest seem to indicate that it only supports lighting. Just because the Hue Bridge supports it doesn’t necessarily mean the binding does.

If the binding does support other devices then the docs need to be updated to indicate that.

The type of a specific device can be found). Hue Motion sensors, Hue Dimmer Switches, and many OSRAM lights and switches are supported in 2.4.0 release. They are documented a little later in the binding doc :
