Presently I have an openhab 5.0 milestone docker installation at home on xubuntu I discovered openHAB Cloud Connector binding permitting to connect to my openhab system at home. This seem the right way to go for the main UI of openhab.
I imagine that VNC could be the solution for the openhab docker installation. Would it?
As I have zigbee2mqqt and SmartHome/J binding, how could I connect at some distance from home?

It might be an option to connect to the Xubuntu machine assuming it’s running a desktop. But that has nothing to do with OH. OH only provides UIs through the browser.
But please don’t expose VMC to the internet.
Tailscale is probsbly the simplest way to set up a VPN to remotely connect to your machines. But again, this really isn’t related to OH specifically. OpenVPN and Wireguard are also options.
