Openhab does not load bindings put in addon directory

Hi there,
I am having a problem with manual addon installation.
I put multiple jar files into opnehabs addon directory /usr/share/openhab/addons
The three jar files are the only files in this derectory.

However I do not see any of these bindings and also cannot add things from them.
It used to work in and earlier Version.

From some other thread I understood that I might need additional dependencies. Where would i get these?

Can someone point me in the right direction?

First: Which version? Which OS? How did you install?
There should be at least one file in the addons folder, this is openhab-addons-<version number>.kar.
As you stated there is no such file, my guess is, you did in stall openHAB in an unusual way and $OPENHAB_HOME is not /usr/share/openhab/
