openHab - looking to use Apple HomeKit to control crestron Tstats

Hello,very new to openHad. I am looking to use Apple HomeKit to control some Crestron tstats. I have seen in the forum that someone has openHab talking to a crestron processor. Would someone be able to point me in the right direction to get that communication to work?

Hallo Jarrod and welcome!

there are 2 parts:

  1. first you need to integrate Crestron with openHAB. this is independent of Apple HomeKit.
  2. once Crestron is connected to openHAB, you can add homeKit tags to Crestron items in openHAB and they will become visible in home app.

have you done the first part already? do you have Crestron thing and items in openHAB?
