openHAB mention in article

Hi, everyone.

I just came across this article on PCWorld and wanted to share it with the community

The paranoid’s guide to securing your smart home

Edit: here is the original article from PC-WELT:
Smart Home: Wie angreifbar ist das smarte Zuhause?

Interesting that home assistant wasn’t mentioned

I was also surprised

I had that article on my to-read list but haven’t gotten around to it. Glad to see OH get some mention. Even if it’s misspelled. It’s openHAB, not Open HAB. The o is always undercase, no space.

Just seen this thread here, I have written an article about openHAB for the German Linux-Magazin:

There are a few misspellings including OpenHAB, Github, Javascript etc.
The editor introduced them and does not want to correct them, he ignored my mails for several weeks, only answered after I called the mother company of the Linux-Magazin.
He still does not want to correct HIS mistakes, regardless of the trademark law violation. My last mail is ignored again, very unprofessional.

Just FYI I have received an email from the editors of https://www.linux-magazine.com/ and have been asked to check my article before they publish it in the November issue — seems that my German article got translated and will be published in the English version of the Linux Magazine as well.
I will try to inform you once the article is out, but in case I forget, just check their website for it.

really a great and comprehensive article. Cool that it’ll be translated to English to extend the range. Thank you @florian-h05
