openHAB on low energy consumption hw

Hi
I would like to gather some of your experiences in running OH on low power consumption HW (< 1W).
What kind of HW are you using?

After running a quit big installion of OH4.2 in my house, I’m now considering to run a very small installation for my camper van. As it should run 24/7 all year power consumption is one of the most critical issues and may become a show stopper.
Keen to get your ideas and implementations.

I don’t have a direct answer for you, but one of the hosts of the Self Hosted podcast runs Home Assistant in his camper van for a family of four.

Have you thought of putting some kind of solar panel and sort of UPS?
(I have no camper and I might be talking BS :slight_smile: )
