OpenHAB slow / timed out

Hi all,

Setup:

  • OpenHAB running on a RPI3
  • OpenHAB app on Android

Oberservation

  • I have observed that OpenHAB somtetimes has timeouts if I want to access it via web-ui or the app.
  • Only a restart of OpenHAB solves the problem.
  • The timeouts seem to occure more often after my complete system backup with “dd” was running.

Any ideas how I can solve that?
For now I try to run a OpenHAB restart every day via a cronjob.

Don’t do any additional DIY stuff on RPi, in particular no docker, backup or similar resource intensive things. Use openHABian and its tools, it’s optimized for low mem platforms.
