Openhab2 deinstalls itself step by step?

While this file was needed and by many (including me) recommended, we are finally at a point where you do not need it anymore, in fact, many things can go sideways by using it.

I didn’t catch that one. Do you have any additional info/background link on that?

No, this is not correct. The addons.cfg is taken into account as always before, so if you have add-ons listed in there, nothing should be uninstalled. @mm1804 Do you maybe have spaces in your list of add-ons in addons.cfg?
