Openhabian-config upgrade failed on clean install of 4.1.1

I did a clean installation (64-bit) openhabian on RP4.

openhabian-config says [openHAB]{2023-12-31T13:09:51+01:00}(9ac4ddd)
Version: 4.1.1 (Build)

When choosing [02] Upgrade System it failed and as I had debugging on, I could look through the logs and saw a hint saying I should the following manually

sudo dpkg --configure -a

After that it worked well.

I am posting this because I wonder if someone has an idea why this may have happened in the first place and how we can avoid that?

Wasn’t there more information about the root cause than just the command on how to resolve it ?

Nope, unfortunately not. I looked closely.
