OpenHabian Raspi3 Bootloop

Hi Community,

i have some trouble with my Openhabian installation on Raspi3. Since 2 weeks my Openhabian stucks in an boot loop. That means after power on the raspi or restart the system it boots until like:

after this part the systems starts again and again until it is there again

So far i changed:

the power supply
try another Raspi3 with the same SD-Card
replace the SD-Card
set up a completely new openhabian installation
… nothing helped.

Access to SSH is working. Also sometimes it starts the WebPort 8080 with all the components but always without PaperUI or BasicUI. After a few seconds its start again and so on…

I have no access to the network shares folders.

Loads of errors and warnings. Why don’t you start by fixing all those first?

I agree with Miika, though the “GroupItem with key…” Warnings are more concerning then the others. This implies you have more than one Item with the same name.

There is nothing in the log to indicate that OH is restarting let alone why.

Check sudo journalctl -u openhab2 to see what might be logged out to the syslog when OH dies.

Yes, i will fix this items. But i don’t think thats the problem. These Items are the Group Items with control my InfluxDB or rrd4j… i configured in each .items.

I’m sure someone can. Are you using VSCode? There is a known bug where OH reboots when you close VSCode.

strom.rules, heizung.rules, timeofdate.rules, and astro.rules still have errors.

All I can recommend at this point is to Clear the Cache and if that doesn’t work a clean reinstall.

It looks like something is actively sending the kill signal to OH. I’m not certain whether this error is even coming from inside of OH or if you have something else in your system killing OH for you.

After a while I would like to contact you again.
I have set up a completely new Openhabian. At this time, everything works as it should. I dont know why this last version crashed but so i had the possibility to set up everything new and clean. Sometimes not so bad.
