Openhabian sd mirroring error

hi everybody,

i am just trying openhabian for the first time, so far i used openhab on windows.
i could install it without any problem (3.2.0) on a rp4 with 4gb ram. i decided to use a 128gb ssd i already had. installation worked fine, booting from usb…

after that i tried to install sd mirroring on a 32 gb sd card getting this error:

2022-02-05_19:04:57_CET [openHABian] Setting up automated SD mirroring and backup... blockdev: cannot open /dev/mmcblk0: No such file or directory

is the problem the different size of ssd and sd ?

thankful for any help for a beginner !!!

thanks

The sd card that you mirror to need to be bigger.

SSDs are not supported as boot devices in openHABian and mirroring any isn’t either of course.
Please read the docs before installing.

Hello All, I’ve sucessful set mirror from 32gb (OS) to new one of 64gb. Is it possible to make a partition for OH Backups using the space we left there?

Yes but there is no menu option for this you’ll have to do it manually.
