Dear Community,
I’m very basic Openhab user.
I want to try to update from openHAB3.3.0 (openHabian immage installation) to OpenHAB4.
I try the upgrade function of the configuration menu but doesn’t work (see the pictures).
There is an help or guide to follow this ugrade in a safe way without start from scratch with a new openHAB4 image?
I try also to read the DEBUD file but it didn’t help me.

Based on the title of the second screenshot ( Old openHAB version ) the complete message in the first screenshot should be
ATTENTION !
You chose to upgrade ALL of your software packages
This is not possible when you are not on the current major version of openHAB, OH4.
In order to upgrade to openHAB 4 first, use the next menu option.
You may follow the instructions in the third screenshot to check if my above assumption is correct.
The instruction ( openHABian | openHAB ) tell how to change debugmode in /etc/openhabian.conf to get more debug output. Then run openhabian-config again and it will create output for every line executed in openhabian-config.
Which OS version ( cat /etc/os-release ) do you run ?

I try again the download with different steps and looks like works!
Now the version is 4.
I follow your suggestion and enable the DEBUG, but was thousands rows, for me hard to understand.
I tryed again the conf menu and change the branch from OH3 to release and looks like fine.
I cross my finger because my knowledge of OH is very limitated.
